Pt.2: LookMazing/Macy's Spring into Style!

Sunday, March 31, 2013

Here are some additional shots from the event last Thursday at Macy's in Union Square.  Thank you to  my family and friends who were able to make it out for tasty libations courtesy of Maven, little bites from Gitane and delectable macaroons provided by Tout Sweet.

Pt. 1: LookMazing/Macy's Spring Into Style Event

Friday, March 29, 2013

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to LookMazing and Macy's for putting together a fantastic evening and including me, as well as two other talented bloggers, as part of their styling event.  I had the privilege of being able to select eight "spring" looks with Macy's essentials in mind, as well as style a beautiful model who showcased my picks at the event.  If you're interested in any of the items shown, they are shopable via LookMazing's site.

Stay tuned tomorrow...I'll be posting additional photos from the event.

Have a wonderful weekend!

2013...You're up! It's Time to Cohabitate!

Tuesday, January 1, 2013

I normally stick to posting about fashion, but I wanted to kick off the year with some exciting news! My boyfriend and I plan on cohabitating, come February, so we are on a ferocious hunt to find an architecturally classic San Francisco apartment!  I'm a minimalist, a bit OCD, and extremely particular, while he's a maximist (Is that a word?), a bit disheveled, and painstakingly laid back.  He really is the yin to my yang.  The over controlling yet creative right side of my brain is super exhilarated to design a space of our very own.  My design aesthetic has evolved quite drastically over the years, but at the moment I'm extremely drawn to reclaimed materials, minimalistic detailing, and bright airy spaces.  I hope you enjoy the above inspiration!

Happy New Years to you and yours!

Happy New Year!

I'm not a huge fan of New Year's Eve, mainly due to the fact that I feel an inherent pressure to do something grandiose, and in turn, somehow, the evening ends up being somewhat lackluster in its entirety.  So this year, I'm debating whether to follow in years past, and spend money on attending an overpriced sponsored soiree, sitting at home in my pajamas, feeling sorry for myself because my boyfriend's in England, watching the Sex and the City movie for the upteenth time, or going somewhere warm, and basking in the sun's radiant glow.  Although, it doesn't sound this way (see kveching above), I'm very excited to bring in a new year and am optimistic for what's in store!

How will you be ringing in the New Year?
