Lamp ℅ Move Loot
I discovered Move Loot, an online marketplace for buying and consigning used furniture/decor, when I co-hosted an event at their pop-up space in Hayes Valley.

I was absolutely ecstatic when I came across this overhanging mid-century modern floor lamp at their pop-up shop, and realized instantly that it would compliment our home's existing decor.
Since adding the lamp to our minuscule San Francisco apartment meant having to consolidate, I proceeded to consign a few pieces that no longer served a spatial purpose.
The seamlessness of buying and selling is what I think makes Move Loot's business model highly attractive to consumers and consigners.
I can honestly say, I am done bartering with strangers via Craigslist, and underselling authentic pieces at garage sales just to make a quick buck. I trust Move Loot to handle the odds and ends of the sale, without the fear of being ripped off.
