1. Stack 'Em/ The more the merrier...as they say.  I've always had an affinity for stackable rings and the look of layered necklaces, but this picture really exemplifies how it can be done tastefully with a touch of "cool".

2. Feeling Grateful/ I am so happy I have immersed myself in San Francisco's blogger community. The ladies and gentleman who are part of this group are beyond supportive, and some of the friendships I have formed, I hope, will last a lifetime. I am so grateful for these incredible bonds, which making blogging all the more worthwhile.

3. Outdoor Space/ I am envious of anyone who has an inch of outdoor space and so inspired by the creative ways people furbish it.

4. Anniversary/ My man and I are celebrating two wonderful years together this weekend, and I owe an immense amount of gratitude to my best friend, for forcing me to go out on that "fateful" night.  Thanks Jess!

5. Floral Trend/ As I sit here writing this post, I am outfitted in my floral corset Betsey Johnson dress feeling very "springy".  Does this trend every tire?  I think not, so feel free to overdo it.

Have a great weekend everyone!

1. Inspiration v. Imitation/ There is a difference! Inspiration is key in sparking creativity, but imitation, when done excessively is a sign of inauthenticity and a lack of self-awareness. So be confident in who you are and don't be afraid to express your individuality. It makes you a hell of a lot more interesting.

2. Dream It, Believe It/ Let's face it, I am close to 3-0 and I am just now confident enough to branch out and pursue what it is I have always been passionate about.  Don't question your voice, let it lead you on a path of self-discovery and fulfillment.

3. Mother's Day/ I really have an amazing mother.  Not only is she a survivor (having beat breast cancer twice), but she's the most compassionate, creative, and selfless person I know.   I can't wait to express my eternal gratitude for her this Sunday by hosting a family brunch at my little nest.  If you're reading this....I LOVE YOU MOM!!!

4. Peach/ I am loving this pastel peach hue that's big for Spring.  It's complimentary on any skin tone, is versatile and emotes whimsy.

5. Pixie/ I am seriously contemplating chopping off my locks in favor of a pixie do!  Twiggy, having popularized this style in the 1960s is my inspiration for change.  Do you think I can pull it off?

Have a great weekend everyone!

1. One Piece Swimsuits/ I am loving the one-piece subtly sexy silhouettes that debuted this year from the likes of Mara Hoffman, Beach Riot, and Wildfox.

2. Travel/ I am turning the big 3-0 this year (scary) and I can not think of anything better than sharing this milestone with my honey in a foreign country.  Romantic, right?

3. Kitschy Jewelry/I am so appreciating the baubles adorned with playful objects.  The bigger and more gaudy, the better!

4. Sequin Coat/ I know it's been hot as balls, but I have dreams, ala Rachel Zoe, of parading around in a floor length sequin coat.  "Maj".

5. Weddings/ My "sister-in law", I say that in quotes because we're technically not in-laws YET, is getting married and has commissioned me to help them plan their wedding.  I've been scouring sites in search of venues, floral arrangements and dresses.  It had me feeling overwhelmed but happy.  Happy for their love, happy for my love, and optimistic about the future.

What has you vibin' this week?

Happy weekend everyone!

This space is a compilation of people, things, and ideas that influence my overall aesthetic, ambitions, and creative energy.  I am going to make this a weekly post, because I feel like it's important to visualize what makes you excited, how that evolves and also to be able to share that journey with anyone who is interested.  So here is what is inspiring me this week:

Typography & Design:
I am consistently invigorated and slightly envious of all of the amazingly creative typography and other design elements that I see in the blogosphere. I'm chomping at the bit to redesign my blog so that it is more representative of my personality and overall design taste.

Embellished Flats:
I am a klutz.  I have been known to stumble, twist an ankle, and even occasionally get kicked out of an establishment for being wrongly identified as "drunk", so I am a big fan of flats.  Flats that are spruced up with embellishments?  I'm in.

DIY Home Projects:
Since moving in to our tiny apartment in the Lower Haight nearly two months ago, I feel like I have not had the time to properly decorate, much less start a DIY project.  That's my goal for this weekend.  Any ideas?  There are so many extremely talented DIY-ers that I can learn a thing or two from.

Sporty/Classy:
I am digging the hybrid of sporty and classy.  A baseball cap, trench coat, skinny jeans, and black pumps, make for a casual yet fashion forward statement.

Blogshop:
Next week, I will be interning for Blogshop as it makes a stop in San Francisco Bri Emery, from DesignLoveFest, and also co-founder of the workshop, will be teaching aspiring bloggers and small business owners how to create design elements using Photoshop.  As most of my close friends know, I have long admired Bri's talents, so I am beyond thrilled to get to interact with her as well as meet other creatively like-minded people.

What or who has been a source of inspiration for you lately?
