Candice Lake: The Girl Behind the Lens

Candice Lake possesses a multitude of talents, including: model, street style photographer and world renown blogger and style icon. Having dropped out of law school to pursue a full-time gig as model, she has graced some of the top designer runway's.  Modeling helped to refocus Candice's long-term goals and it was within this realm that she became inspired to step behind the lens. After completing a degree in photography (yes, she's an overachiever), Lake has gone on to shoot some of the most notable women in the world of fashion, specifically capturing their street style ensembles.  Candice's photos are captivating, vibrant and have sense of vulnerability to them.  Her ability to build a relationship with her subjects translates beautifully photographically.  This Aussie-born, London-based, stunner, continues to capture some of the most coveted shots in the industry.

Jessica Hart- Gap-Toothed Beauty

Jessica Hart is an Australian supermodel, and is notably known for her gap tooth smile! It's her signature...just like Cindy Crawford's mole was her distinguishing physical trait. She's been on the cover of every major fashion magazine, including being featured in Victoria Secret catalogs, as well as graced the runway for such renowned designers as: Sass & Bide, Christopher Kane and Matthew Williamson. I admire her laid-back, but always astonishingly put together off-duty style, and appreciate her distinctive look as it is sort of reminiscent of a young Lauren Hutton.  Hopefully we will be seeing and hearing much more from this Aussie beauty in the not-so-distant future.

Hanneli Mustaparta-Behind the Lens

Hanneli Mustaparta is a Norwegian model, stylist, blogger, editor and photographer. Her accolades include running a successful fashion blog, entitled "Hanneli", acting as a contributing editor for Vogue, landing on multiple fashion publication's "Best Dressed" lists, partnering with international brands such as Zara & H&M, and co-hosting a CBS webcast with Andre Leon Talley for "Fashion Night Out". She experiments with her style, refusing to "take the easy way out", and is a proponent of mixing a pop of color with neutral monotone pieces.  She's beautiful, ambitious and stylish.  Oh, how I envy you, Hanneli!

Giovanna Battaglia-The Maker, The Model, The Muse

Giovanna Battaglia is an internationally known style muse, not solely due to the fact that this Italian born beauty is fashion savvy, but also because she's also an extremely talented editor.  Having transitioned from a career in modeling to writing for a notable publication at the ripe old age of 28, Giovanna landed an opportunity to head the fashion editorial team at L'Uomo Vogue, an Italian publication dedicated to menswear and male interest cultural activities.  Since then, she's become a familiar face on the street style scene, being shot by numerous noteworthy photographers during fashion week.  Giovanna has also parlayed her experience at L'Uomo Vogue into a recurring contributing editor role for W magazine.  What I admire about her aesthetic is that she's a subtle risk taker, and by that, I mean, that's she not afraid of color or bright accessories but she's always put together in a classically feminine way.  Her sense of dress is easy to interoperate; although, her beauty and intellect are hard to imitate.

Poppy Delevingne- UK's Loveliest Flower

Poppy Delevingne is a British model, socialite, actress and most notably, a muse for fashion designer, Matthew Williamson.   Beauty and style run in her blood, as her mother, Pandora, is the head personal shopper at Selfridges, in the UK, and her sister Cara, is an internationally renown model.   Most recently, she was featured as the face of Louis Vuitton's pre-autumn/winter 2012-2013 collection.  Her aesthetic is a mix of classic and rock n' roll, but with those long gams and flowing blonde hair, she has the ability to pull off any look.
